Looking for a Job
No doubt coming to Paris to learn French is the best way to go about it, however getting a job while not knowing any French can be futile. Businesses are more likely to hire someone who speaks some French compared to someone who doesn't speak any. However, your native language skills will be an advantage if you're looking for work in the hospitality industry; hotels, restaurants, bars, hostels, tourist offices, babysitting, retail shops, etc.
Finding a job in Paris but not being an EU citizen is a little complicated. You need a Visa permitting you to work in France and getting this Visa is difficult. You are abe to work with a student visa. You are not able to work with an au pair visa, you are restricted to babysitting for your family.
If you are looking for full-time work, you may want to consider contacting an agency. Many agencies are looking for foreign native language speakers. You can find agencies in the FUSAC magazine, available for free at numerous sites around Paris. Visit http://www.fusac.fr/en/lieux_categories.php to find an area near you.
